What this tool is — and isn't. NormInvoice helps you validate, generate, convert, and read structured e-invoices (EN 16931 — Factur-X, XRechnung, CII, UBL). It is developer and accountant tooling.
NormInvoice is not a certified e-invoicing platform, a Peppol Access Point, or an accredited plateforme agréée (PA — the term that replaced Plateforme de Dématérialisation Partenaire, PDP, in the French reform texts of July 2026). It does not transmit invoices to tax authorities or trading partners on your behalf, and using it does not by itself make your business compliant with any national e-invoicing mandate. You remain responsible for how invoices are sent, archived, and reported. Always confirm your obligations with your accountant or a certified provider for your country.

Do I still need a certified platform (plateforme agréée / Peppol Access Point)?
Yes — where your country requires certified transmission, that happens on an accredited platform (in France a plateforme agréée, PA, the term that replaced PDP in the July 2026 reform texts). NormInvoice is the format layer: validate, generate, convert and read the files themselves. See "What this tool is — and isn't" below the pricing.
Which formats do you support?
EN 16931 profiles: Factur-X (incl. ZUGFeRD), XRechnung, CII and UBL. We do not support Peppol BIS 3.0 — it adds its own rule layer on top of EN 16931, and we do not validate against it.
